How you have forgotten so easily
the light that was lavished on to you.
How is it that you cease to acknowledge
the sacred promise whose soil on which you grew.

Why do you ignore the true vine
by trying to grow apart from the divine
How dare you say you know
when you willingly blindfold yourself from the vow
–
Resist the serpent whose lies lead to devastation
Fight until you shed blood for the departure of temptation.
Despite all, only by grace, ours is the salvation.
–
Look to the sky, you know who guards you.
Look inside, you know the spirit that fills you.
Look to the cross, you know who has you.
